The Hamilton Manor
In the summer of 1936, seventeen-year-old Joanna Collins is sent to live with her Aunt Alva in the Hamilton Manor. Fed up with the way her life circumstances have pushed her around, she vows to make her way in the world. But the mansion proves to be more than just the dwelling place of a stiff-backed butler and a strange old woman with an affinity for knitting. It is the home to a terrible evil. Soon she must decide whether she'll allow her circumstances to determine her fate, or do what she believes is right, even if it is at the expense of her own happiness.
Meanwhile, Silvertown is hit by an unusual cold-snap and eighteen-year-old John Gibson is certain the Hamilton Manor has something to do with it. Ever since the arrival of the mysterious girl named Joanna Collins, the mansion seems to have woken up. John's world is turned completely upside-down when white, demon-like shapes appear. Only he can see them, and he soon realizes that to save his mother from depression and his father from a life threatening sickness is to enter the Hamilton Manor and confront the evil that is spilling from within.
